Mailboxes and Address Numbers
Posted on Aug 20th, 2022
The HRHA board voted a few years back to discontinue repairing the current metal mailboxes for the homeowners due to lack of Parts price of spare parts.  Instead, we are wanting the homeowners to replace, if needed, with the mailboxes listed below.  Many residents already changed over and are happy with them.  You will have to order the mailbox and post online or go into the Home Depot store and they can order for you. ALSO, It is the homeowners responsibility to keep up with their own mailbox maintenance.  We do require a uniform black mailbox. We do require white numbers.  I have found numbers in the water sport/boat sections of Sports Stores, West Marine and Ace Hardwares.
Stratford Mailbox post combination, Black (Gibraltar Mailbox)  $74.99. Ship to Home or Store FREE  You will also need a treated 4X4 for post.  No concrete is needed.
If you are interested in repairing your own metal mailbox, email www.gilraltarmailboxes.com or call 1-800-647-7063 for replacement parts.  Again, check out replacement parts prices and  read reviews.  Cannot get whole mailbox, post or anchor.  Representative did say you could get door, decorative piece, etc.
Neighborhood Street Lights
Posted on Aug 20th, 2022
If anyone notices any street lights not working properly, either staying on in the day or not coming on in the evening, please contact Duke Power at #800-653-5307.  Report a street light in our neighborhood is out and mark the light or give address of area it is in.  The light will be fixed in 3 to 10 days max. You can now do this yourself at the Duke Energy Website.  Follow the prompts.  Pretty easy.  Pick South Carolina, Upstate on the map, Light Repair, Mark the light,  What repair?, When finished don't forget to save/finish your request.  Thank You for Your Help!!
